TG4 Surface
The subtractive surface for titanium grade 4 implants is, to begin with, gently conditioned by zirconium-oxide particles. Subsequently, the implants are structured by an acid treatment. The treatment of the implants takes place according to validated processes.
The advantages of the process are:
- Dimensional stability of titanium components by shot peening
- no residuals from blasting materials (verification by strict quality controls by accredited laboratories)
- verified biocompatibility of the surface by clinical evaluation
Characteristics of the Surface:
- homogeneous surface structure
- determined roughness : 1,5 mµ +/- 0,5 mµ
- Visual manifestation: matt, grey
